Anyone can join (including newbies!) to develop their skills while having fun along the way in an open and friendly environment where creativity and questions are encouraged. This Yahoo group is moderated by graphics professionals Cecilia Ziemer, Douglas Alden Peterson, and Eric Dubois. Eric also serves as CarraraFan's Contest Coordinator.

The image shown on this page is the winner of the recent CarraraFan contest with the theme of "Surgery." It was created by Corky from sunny Florida, USA who began his exploration of computer graphics with a TI99-4A at about the time woolly mammoths were placed on the endangered species list. Corky's long and brilliant career as an IT programmer and project manager is now complete. He's retired with a computer system that has grown along with his wife's ire because he spends too much time with his Carrara hobby.
