FOTR is the group email list for "Families On The Road", a web site (www.familiesontheroad.com / The webmaster is our member (& one of our moderators) Kimberly, of Act!vatedStorytellers, make sure you go check out their website for some superb shows!)

The website & this group is dedicated to families who RV fulltime, part-time, just a weekend / or those who are contemplating or... just dreaming of such an adventure! You don't have to have an RV to join, & you don't even need to have children still at home to join!

The purpose of this group is for everyone to share experiences, ideas & information related to this subject. Discussion topics might include buying an RV for a family, schooling options on the road, & connecting to the internet while RVing.

Please note to spammers!!! We're a partially moderated group. Messages from new/newer members are moderated so we don't get spam, & make sure that all messages are ""G/E" rated, as this is a family oriented group. Messages will be approved at *least* twice daily, usually much more often. The list owner is "on the road" a great deal, & so is the moderator. We went to this format... to avoid all the people joining just to send in spam type emails, & all the emails with several previous posts attached. Some members still get their email via a very slow dial-up, or via cell phone / Palm type device, & don't appreciate all the extra space taken up by lengthy 2-3 messages still attached to a short reply, or, sometimes, an entire digest! LOL...

Please remember, this is a *G*/*E* rated family list, where children may also be reading. Mine do! Let's keep it family friendly & "kid" friendly when posting a message.
